SPX Aids to Navigation (AtoN) is seeking a reliable and hands-on Assembler to join our Plastics Department and contribute to the production of our high-quality marine buoy products. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a dynamic team, working across rotational moulding, foaming, and assembly processes to support our global operations. If you enjoy practical, hands-on work and take pride in producing quality products, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Description

Your main duties will include but not limited to: 

  • Assembly work
  • Testing the function of the products
  • Working in a team environment
  • Using hand & power tools
  • Machine operation
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • lifting to 25kgs

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate for this role is a fast learner who is ready to work, eager to get the job done and has:

  • A mechanical background in manufacturing would be desirable.
  • Physical capability to work in an indoor and outdoor environment where moderate to heavy lifting is required.
  • Experience in working with power tools and hand tools
  • Multi-tasking abilities and eager to learn
  • Attention to detail 
  • Current Forklift License * desired - not essential  
  • willingness to learn
  • availability - Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
